If you’re looking to make money on the internet you may already be familiar with the keys to success. They are organic search traffic in buying moods and content that drives clicks to your advertisers or products. The key to both of those, of course, is writing.
Many opt to hire others to do the writing for them. The results are sometimes questionable. If you’re the kind who wants to generate their own content, there is one simple thing you can do to improve your results and that’s to set goals.
The single piece of advice that has made a difference in my own efforts wasn’t what I thought it would be. My early efforts focused on getting sites up or researching trends and keywords. It wasn’t until I was told to set a minimum goal to write X number of words per day that I began seeing significant changes in my earnings.

If you intend to make yourself some extra money online, there are various avenues you will want to try out, and definitely some you’ll do best to avoid. Go into this with your eyes wide open, and with your cynicism gland firing on all cylinders! There are scams out there designed to part the unwary from his hard-earned cash, so beware. And that’s the first rule when you start out trying to make money online: don’t even consider paying any money upfront. There are plenty of ways to get started which will not cost you a cent.
If you have a little bit of artistic talent, or a passion for a certain subject, then the first places to consider are sites that offer you a free platform to post your writing. Take a look at Hubpages or Squidoo. Both of these let you open a free account and start building up some pages online about whatever interests you. . . . → Read More:

For a writer, article marketing is often times not an easy or enjoyable task. Such a necessary chore comes with many considerations. There are not only a variety of avenues to advertise the article, but there are also specific demands of the market that should be examined thoroughly.
I will list and discuss many of the considerations that must be looked at by authors hoping to gain publication. It is my hope that this detailed discussion will assist the reader in determining his or her best route for success.
The Demand of the Market: In order to create something that people desire, you need to be mindful of what is going on in contemporary society. This can guide your choices on what to write about. Choosing a topic that is specialized for a niche audience is also appropriate.

As you begin on the journey to starting your law firm, if you are like me, you are going to realize several things. First, you are going to realize its possible. Second, you are going to realize you are going to make some money doing this. And third, if you employ any out of the box marketing ideas you are going to meet a lot of resistance. That’s what I want to talk about today – turning your nose to that resistance.
Let me give you an example. I am a Seattle traffic lawyer. When I first started out, I’d been dabbling in some internet marketing on the side, so I understood what it took to get to the top of Google very fast. One of those things is to start a blog and fill it with content, keyword related content, that Google would see, like, and push me to the top with.

With better competition online now than ever before, if you want to rank your site or sites, you need to know what you are doing. Gone are the days of the one page site targeting a single word and getting near instantaneous first page Google results. Yes, now more than ever you need to know what you are doing for better website ranking. There are whole fields and consultants promising to take care of your online marketing efforts for you. However, if they don’t know what they are doing, then you are not only stuck with the same poor results in the search engine results pages, but you also get sent a nice invoice every month.
Besides, many of these online marketing gurus only outsource the work to other people, so they really just act as a middleman to your efforts. This is all fine and good as long as you are getting the results you are hoping for. The problems arise when you are stuck at a certain place with your website and the consultants just promise a watch and wait approach. While it is certainly true that much of the angst in the online world can be overcome with time, some things simply will not improve the longer you wait. In fact, if you are in highly competitive niche market, your site will suffer more with more time.
